Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups of black beans
  • 2.5 cusp of chickpeas
  • 2 cups of quinoa
  • Ezekiel Bread
  • Tomato
  • Jalepenos
  • Sauerkraut
  • Oregano
  • Sage
  • Onion powder
  • Avacado butter
  • Mustard

Directions

  • Makes 8-10 Servings
  • Mash the pre-cooked chickpeas until fairly smooth, then add the pre-cooked black beans and continue mashing
  • Add in 2 cups of pre-cooked quinoa and spices and mix thoroughly
  • Pre-heat the oven to 375
  • On a baking pan (cast iron preferred) toast Ezekiel Bread lightly coated with avacado butter until golden brown and roast 1 jalepeno 
  • While the bread is toasting add avocado or olive oil to a medium skillet on medium high heat.
  • Form the black bean and chickpea mixture into 8-10 patties and grill until firm and brown on both sides.
  • Top the Ezekiel Toast with a patty, mustard, tomoato slice, sliced jalepenos, and sauerkraut
