We are Ashley and Yuri, co-founders of Vegan Strong and Fit, co-hosts of Balancing Wellness Podcast, and indie authors.

We are an adventure loving family with a passion to bring balance in life. As working parents who also homeschool 3 young boys, we understand the struggle to maintain a balanced wellness program. And that is why we've put in the hard work through research as well as trial and error to design the perfect program which aligns mind, body and spirit to create true balanced wellness.

For over 30 years, Yuri and I were living it up on the American diet. Burgers, chicken, anything meaty, fried, and sweet. That is what our lives were about. Exploring the most amazing foods world wide was our mission. Now we have a new mission to lead like-minded individuals towards balance, through plant-based wellness and spiritual healing. 

Wellness is more than a number on the scale!

We initially transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle for health reasons. Yuri and I both struggle with obesity. Yuri had high blood pressure and frequent migraines, and Ashley suffered with chronic constipation and hidradenitis suppurativa. We knew we had to make a change!!

After extensive research, including our certifications in fitness, nutrition, and wellness, we learned more than we ever imagined. Our journey went from completely nutrition focused to a journey of enlightenment, which includes meditation, breathwork, earthing, herbs, and crystal healing. 

This is our way to be a positive contribution to the world.

After transitioning to a vegan lifestyle in March 2020 we have completely transformed our health, and even more importantly, our mindset and beliefs!

Yuri is no longer on blood pressure medication, and Ashley hasn't had constipation issues for the first time since elementary school!

 

Our purpose is to be able to share our lives and experiences with you so that you don't have to make the same mistakes we did! We are here for you and cannot wait to help you create a balanced wellness lifestyle that you will LOVE!
